File Name

The file name, as the name suggests, appears as the initial thing that you notice in a file. It is also displayed with an icon specific to the file. A file's name can be changed and freely selected by the user. But, there are some guidelines to be adhered to when choosing the name of a file.

The names of a file need to be unique to all files similar to it within the same folder. They must, in the ideal scenario, explain what's in the file. File names that are too long can not be fully displayed. Therefore, names that are too long are not recommended. Special characters should be avoided.
